New 2016 Toyota Tundra Cummins Diesel | mpg Review
2016 Toyota Tundra | Cummins Diesel |
While the coming-soon 2016 Tundra will possibly ride on a Cummins' diesel, its TDI Pro version has just received some tweaks last year as a 2015 generation. We haven't heard yet from Toyota as the owner, but sure to welcome the upcoming Tundra to 2016 market offering significant upgrades. Since both companies haven't yet released any official details concerning new specs, so it's still hard for us to compare the full-size pickup to the ready-to-ride Nissan Titan. What only they claimed is that their creative innovation is expected to lift the Tundra's power up to 500 lb-ft of torque and upward 300 horsepower. Their teamwork is still seriously focused on the CAFE MPG Standards for diesels as it's getting tight on the average ratings which is targeted to 54.5 mpg before 2025. Regardless of those raw reports, we do expect the 2016 Toyota Tundra to reduce its pricing and offer preferable Specs.
Ram, however, has owned its V-6 3.0-liter EcoDiesel on sale. So the 2016 Cummins-diesel Toyota Tundra and Titan are actually not the pioneers. The EcoDiesel Ram 1500 is rated at 420 pound-feet of torque and 240 horsepower - it's been awarded as cisty/28 mpg leading class. According to the source, the 2016 Toyota Tundra with Cummins' diesel is scheduled to get released at the end of this year, 2015. It is sure, there should be a number of refreshments on this generation for both interior and exterior packaging, including the engine performance and safety features. So far that's only the available confirmation for the 2016 Toyota Tundra. To get the full review and recent news on this Cummins-Toyota Tundra, please go back in a couple weeks.
