BMW Announces its Largest Recall Ever Involving 1.3 million Cars; Local Distributor Addresses Issue

The recall covers all BMW 5 Series sedans and sports cars between June 1, 2003 and 31 Produced in March 2010, and six series coupe and convertible between 1 September 2003 and 31 Produced in July 2010.

However, there are no reports of accidents or injuries to persons resulting from this failure.

There are about 700 vehicles in the Philippines, which will be affected by the deportation. The vehicles involved were produced between 2003 and 2010. Owners of affected vehicles will be notified by mail and asked to bring their vehicle to a BMW dealer for service 30 hours without charge, CAC said.
