New 2016 Mazda 2 Upgrades MPG Rating | MAZDA USA
The new redesigned Mazda 2 comes in American specs |
The 2016 Mazda 2's engine seems not to remain the ongoing unit, but a new 1.5L Mazda Skyactiv directly injected 4-cylinder engine that has been showed off excellent compression ratio since launched. The engine has generated somewhat impressive power of 129 hp combined with 111 lb ft. As a USA-spec sedan the new Mazda 2 seems not to go under any minor engines. The current news conveyed that the 2016 Mazda 2 USA would probably offer an optional diesel engine, yet when we see what the American market needs, it won't happen.
Talking more about the Mazda 2 fuel-efficiency excellence, there are two competitors which actually offer better numbers; the Mirage stands at thirty-seven mpg/city and forty-four mpg/hwy under a continuously variable transmission, and the Prius C Hybrid proudly presents the highest at fifty-three mpg/city with forty-six mpg/hwy.
The 2016 Mazda 2 changes don't stop at its mechanism, the truth is, new chassis, new body style over interior-exterior restyling, new additional features and new overall specs. The subcompact crossover should appear longer and taller to overcome tiny matters.
When it comes handling performance, anyone becomes in need to point Mazda's cars out as well as the small Mazda 2, though the 2 itself doesn't compete well in powertrain. We're wondering if the new engine can help the Mazda 2 upgrade strength.

Whether the 2016 Mazda 2 release is worth waiting or not is now becoming your job.
